Buffalo Scoops

The Scoops, previously known as the Mustangs have been playing in the BABL for 6 years. In our existence we have won 5 of the last 6 championships. Our team is compromised of division 3 talent, JUCO athletes, and guys that just want to play ball. We have a lengthy 20-man roster because most of us play in other competitive leagues as well as BABL. However, BABL is a fast pitch baseball league with a bar league softball league attitude. We take pride in knocking a few back after (sometimes during) a good game of baseball. The Scoops guys have huge hearts for the game, and we have become a pretty close group over the years.

I, as the owner, have constructed this team with players a grew up playing with in house league ball that I even stayed with and played D3 baseball with at Medaille college.

My brother (best man), future brother in law (groomsmen), a future cousin in law (flower guy), a childhood best friend (groomsmen) all look to compete together this season and hopefully take the championship trophy back, even though on June 24th I’m gaining the real trophy, my soon-to-be wife aka the scorebook keeper.
